Product Description
Ingredients: Aqua (Purified Water), Cocos Nucifera (Certified Organic Coconut Oil), Butyrospermum Parkii (Certified Organic Fair Trade Shea Butter), Emulsifying Wax (Plant Derived), Certified Organic Glycerin, Mel Millis (Certified Organic Australian Honey), Certified Organic Beeswax, Astrocaryum (Murumuru Butter), Rosa Canina (Certified Organic Rosehip Oil), Mangifera Indica (Mango Butter), Calendula Officinalis (Calendula Flower Extract), Avena Sativa (Hydrolysed Oat Extract), Stearic Acid (Plant Derived), d-Alpha-Tocopherol (Natural Vitamin E), Panthenol (ProVitamin B5), Phenoxyethanol, Caprylyl Glycol.
Directions: Apply on dry areas of skin. For best results, use after shower or bath when skin is still moist.
Storage: Avoid sunlight and store below 30°C / 86°F. For external use only. Keep out of eyes.
Ligurian Queen Honey Bee
History of the Ligurian Honey Bees
Before the 1880's there were no honeybees on Kangaroo Island, Australia. When importations were made between 1881 and 1885, the intention was for them to breed up and provide a future source of purebred queen bees for the beekeeping industry.
These bees originated from Liguria in Italy and so are known as Ligurian Bees.
In 1885 the South Australian Government proclaimed Kangaroo Island to be a bee sancturary for these bees and no more importations would be permitted.
Today, Kangaroo Island is the only place in the world where pure strains of the Ligurian bee can be found, as the island is out of range of bee flight from the mainland.
Since the arrival of the ligurian bee, no other race or strain of honeybee has been introduced onto the island, which now is home to the oldest bee sanctuary in the world.
Here is the community of Wa who depend on the organic shea butter trade for their livelihoods.

The organic shea butter we purchase are fair trade certified.
This ensures the workers collecting the shea are paid fairly and aren't exploited.
Women gather the shea butter from the shea nuts.
The shea butter is filled in sterile bags held inside woven baskets. Then it is taken to Holland for gentle steam processing (with no chemical aids) to become the clean, soft organic shea butter we use in our products.
